4+ Books…
You know the book… or a few…
…the one(s) that you read from beginning to end in 3 days…
…those you spent every waking moment with… clutching it for dear life because it finally all started making sense…
…maybe you were finally on to something…
…maybe you weren’t crazy after all…
If you are on a path of awakening, you may be able to tell a story of the beginning…
…how you are started to wake up
and the people and resources that were a part of your discoveries.
Here are some of mine:
Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself by Dr. Joe Dispenza
We were recommended What the Bleep Do We Know and Dr. Joe resonated with me. His meditations were the first I committed to. His most recent book, We Are the Placebo: Making the Mind Matter was just thick enough that I ended up getting the audio and finished out listening to it while I went for a run. He mixes science and emotions just right.
May Cause Miracles by Gabrielle Bernstein
I have been a huge fan since the beginning of my shift. It was her TED Talk: Women that I stumbled upon and couldn’t stop thinking about the way it made me feel.
My girlfriend started reading this and it didn’t jive with her the same way, as it’s a 40 day practice. She wanted to read a book all the way through. I totally understand that. For me, at the time I started reading it, I really needed it. This was a way for me to set an intention and a commitment, that felt good to me…I wanted to read it in the morning and night, and do the work. For me, at the time, it was a good fit.
Frequency: The Power of Personal Vibration by Penney Peirce
So this was more of a sub-catalyst book. I came across Frequency after hearing Penney Peirce speak on Hay House Radio. After I adopted the firm belief that we are energy, that thoughts are energy…. I gravitated towards the basics of a quantum reality and the “power of personal vibration.”
The Power of Intention by Dr. Wayne Dyer
This is an audio I came across and listened to while driving. Wayne’s way of speaking, storytelling and repetition of beliefs struck a cord that continues to vibrate with me today. His work is untouchable and profoundly inspiring.
I recently read Don’t Die With Your Music Still In You by Serena and Dr. Dyer, and I loved its style. I put so much pressure on myself as a parent and this book shared a perspective that pulled back the curtain, allowing some pressure to be released from having to parent perfectly from a spiritual point of view.
I am thankful to all the leaders who played a part in my process and who continue to inspire me with their gifts, talents and service.
Life Changing Audio
I’m working backwards here a little bit. This was an audio that was given to me, in the very beginning. A friend had it on a Success Magazine CD. For me, in the beginning, audio was very important. Listening to it repeatedly started to carve out new neuro-pathways and facilitated changing limiting beliefs.
I listened to this one so often. There is something so calming about Napoleon Hill’s voice… like it connects us with a time long ago, one that channels authenticity, truth and wisdom. He is most notable for his Think and Grow Rich but these recordings are raw and carry a permanance that was a huge catalyst for changing my beliefs and my thoughts.
Like a history lesson we were never taught in school, but the most important one…ever.
Do the work and you’ll be amazed at what happens.

This is a fantastic list! I’d not heard of Frequency – will take a look at that one for sure. Great material here, across the board.
Thanks for reading! I still feel connected to the material even as times passes…
Frequecy, for me, keeps things into perspective, reminding us that we are energy. Let me know if you like it!
Yes, it’s so easy to forget! If you get Notes From the Universe, today’s is a great reminder as well. Best – julianna
