Peaches + Power Greens Wrap = Charlie Approved
Ingredients:
- Almond butter
- Honey or agave
- Lemon juice
- Cucumber
- White flesh peach
- Power greens or greens of choice
- Whole wheat wrap
- Hunger for change
Mix a scoop of almond butter and lemon juice. Spread onto wrap. Peel and slice cucumber into slivers. Lay onto wrap. Chop greens into slivers and sprinkle on cucumbers. Cut peaches into thin slices and lay on greens. Wrap. Slice into pieces for easier grip.
My kids helped with each of these steps and it kept them full until we got to he pool and starting munching on fruit and yogurt. I have a tough time incorporating protein into their meals, and keeping their white flour and sugar intake low. We must all start somewhere and I am beyond thrilled at our creation, with what we already had in the kitchen! Here’s to our cook book, Charlie!
