A little refresher

 

The monkey is yawning, by the way, not trying to eat Ms. Charlie throuh the protective glass. We have a lot of fun and it’s almost fair to say we’re getting the hang of this marriage, kid thing… almost… Charlie likes dance but wants to go to “craft school” so we’re going to try dance and girl scouts. This entry feels a little more boring than entries in the past, even though we have so much going on… everyone is heathy and growing and we can’t ask for anything more. We’re blessed to have the family we do and the love we have for each other. Running a business, selling advertising, raising a toddler and a big school bus rider is nothing more than a marathan with a few naps in between. Potty training at night is still in the works and even though it’s a big deal at the time, it’s true that I forget easily. There is so much going on and I’m so happy to be a part of it. Theo is learning so much so quickly and he’s talking really well. He’s all smiles, singing, dancing, playing, watchig Sesame Street when Charlie isn’t making him watch Woody Woodpecker…. He’s really amazing and I have more patience than I had with Charlie when she was little… I have more patience all together… I still fall off my rocker from time to time but I’m able to manage it a little better… it’s a lot of work and although a lot of it still doesn’t make much sense, a lot of it makes enough sense to be happy. So, happy 2nd birthday to my wonderful, beautiful boy who shines through everything… I love you and you make me so incredibly happy… my heart fills when I’m with you, except when I have to put you in time-out… Charlie, we are going to continue to learn a lot about each other and the world as we continue our journey together…. I love you and I am always impressed by your strong will, ability to adjust and your kind heart. You amaze me every day and it’s important you know how much I care about you.
