I think we are going to have the baby tomorrow. I’m really nervous and we’ve been running around like crazy getting our house cleaned and sorted out. Charlie had a good day, she played a lot. She listened half the time. We fought a little bit, but Sean helps a lot with discipline. He talks with her and holds her accountable. It really does take both of us, though. I’m so happy to give her the two of us. I’m happy to give her a baby brother or sister to play and grow up with. She saw a picture of herself when she was born and asked if she was a boy when she was a baby. I said, “no, why?” She said, “I’m wearing green and blue socks!” I told her they were frog socks but she didn’t buy it.
Tomorrow
I’m watching Cheerleader Nation… I hate to say it, but I love competitive cheerleading and I’d love to go back and do it all over again… and actually go to Nationals… I wonder what Charlie will be interested in. I bet she’ll play golf.
The past two nights I’ve told Charlie the story of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears. She really likes it. It keeps her attention. She’s sweet and she went right to sleep tonight. I’m terrified… maybe just anxious. We have a lot to pray about and a lot to be thankful for.
Sean pulled the car into the garage tonight. He’s been working really hard to get things together. He said he’ll be there with me and he’s right.
